Keto Harissa Salmon and Kale

Anyone looking to spice up their keto diet with a little bit of heat should try harissa salmon. This meal comes together quickly, is packed with healthy fats, and is nutrient-dense.

Simply arrange the items on an oven pan, and 15 minutes later, you may savor a delicious meal! The harissa paste that you marinate the salmon in before cooking is how the dish's spice is delivered. The ingredients in harissa paste include chilies, garlic, olives, and spices like cumin and coriander.

If you're not a fan of extremely spicy food, use only a small amount of the paste and then thin it up with additional olive oil. You'll still get all the flavor but not as much heat this way. This dish can be prepared in a few minutes, added to one oven pan, and baked for approximately 15 minutes.

The Components

  • 16-ounce salmon fillets with skin

  • 2-ounce harissa

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 8-ounce kale

  • 2 teaspoon fresh garlic

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Set the oven to 400 degrees.

Stir together the harissa, olive oil, and garlic in a bowl.

Brush the salmon with the harissa sauce using a brush.

Combine the greens and the remaining harissa mixture.

Kale should be put on a baking pan. Add the salmon filet on top. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Bake for approximately 15 minutes in the oven.

Lemon wedges are recommended. Enjoy!
